LAWLOANS Private Loans
A LAWLOANS Private Loan offers competitive tiered interest rates and fees based on your credit history and the school you attend, no disbursement fees, online credit pre-approval, a variety of repayment options and more.

To be eligible for a LAWLOANS Private Loan, you must meet all of the criteria listed below:


  • Attending an approved ABA-accredited law school at least part-time
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident

An international student can apply if they have a creditworthy U.S. citizen or permanent resident as a cosigner. A cosigner may be required for some borrowers depending on their credit history and the school they’re attending.

LAWLOANS Bar Study Loan
Finance the costs associated with taking your bar exam such as review course fees, exam deposits and fees and any living expenses up to a limit of $10,000.

To be eligible for a LAWLOANS Bar Study Loan, you must meet all of the criteria listed below:


  • Attending an approved ABA-accredited law school in your final year at least part-time or have graduated within the last six months
  • Must take the exam no later than nine months after graduating
  • Have proper evidence of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

An international student can apply if they have a creditworthy U.S. citizen or permanent resident as a cosigner. A cosigner may be required for some borrowers depending on the school they’re attending.
