Federal Loans
Federal Loans are federally guaranteed loans that are available for
undergraduate and graduate students to help with the tuition cost of approved
schools. There are two types of Federal Loans, Stafford and PLUS Loans.

Stafford Loans
The most common loan used to fund education expenses such as tuition, books,
room and board, etc. There are two types of Federal Stafford Loans,
Subsidized and Unsubsidized.

PLUS Loans
A Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) is one of the financial
resources parents can use to borrow money for their dependent child’s tuition
bills whether they are undergraduate or graduate students. Independent graduate
students are also eligible.
